Our website is a non-profit language exchange platform designed to connect people around the world who want to learn new languages with volunteers willing to share their native language.

Break through language barriers, discover new cultures, and begin a meaningful journey of exchanging knowledge.

How It Works

This platform connects Hosts (Volunteers) with Clients (Language Learners).

  • Host: A volunteer who can teach or explain their native language. Hosts can post a listing to recruit Clients.
  • Client: Someone who wishes to learn a specific language and improve their skills through conversations with a Host.

Menu Structure

The website menu is organized by the language you want to learn. Each language section contains two boards:

  1. Link Board
    • A space where Hosts and Clients officially connect.
    • Only Hosts can create posts, and Clients can apply by leaving a comment.
  2. Q&A Board
    • A free discussion space to ask and answer simple questions about the language or its culture.

Link Board Rules

The following rules ensure smooth and fair operation of the Link Board:

  1. Posting Eligibility: Only individuals who wish to serve as Hosts may create posts.
  2. Title Format: Hosts must follow the format below and keep the field updated in real time:
    • Format: [Host / <Available Languages> / <Preferred Messengers> / <Max Clients> / <Current Clients> / <Period>]
    • Item Descriptions:
      • Host (Mandatory)
      • Available Languages: Additional languages (besides the Host’s native language) the Host can use to assist Clients.
      • Preferred Messengers: The communication platform the Host prefers to use when connecting externally with Clients (e.g., Discord, Zoom, Google Meet, WhatsApp, etc.).
        • Note: Since the website does not provide built-in communication tools, Hosts and Clients must contact each other using external platforms.
      • Max Clients: The maximum number of Clients the Host accepts.
      • Current Clients: The number of Clients currently connected.
      • Period: How long the Host is available.
    • Connection Process (Important):
      • Clients apply by commenting on a Host’s post.
      • The Host can select Clients from among the commenters and send them a Private Message through the website.
      • In this Private Message, the Host may share their preferred messenger information to begin the conversation.
      • Since the website does not provide built-in communication tools, all actual conversations must take place through external messengers.
